When you use your Target RedCard you save 5% on every purchase you make at Target, online and in-store. The 5% savings is in addition to sales, coupons, gift card deals and any other promotion they are offering. The exception would be gift cards, those are always excluded. You also get free shipping on all online orders.

They offer a credit card and a debit card.

Option 1: Target RedCard debit card. No credit check at all, it is attached to your checking account and used just as you would a debit card at Target only. Instead of pulling out your own debit card you would use your Target REDcard debit card and save your 5% without having to put anything on credit.

Option 2: Target RedCard credit card. This requires a credit check and upon approval you can shop to your heart’s content, responsibly, and also enjoy your 5% discount.
